Your Responsibilities:
As EMC Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• conducting Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) stress measurements of radio frequency (RF) and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs)
• developing of product specific automated EMC stress tests in C# and/or LabVIEW.
• designing the printed circuit boards for EMC.
• managing the calibration of the EMC setup in the laboratory.
• debugging and executing the relevant EMC tests e.g. Direct Power Integration (DPI) and TEM/Stripline measurements.
• reporting and documentation of the test results according to the automotive standards.
Your Profile:
As a candidate for this role you:
• provide a degree from a Technical University (Masters or Bachelor) in Electrical Engineering or Informatics, or from a higher technical school
• have 3+ years, preferable, experience in EMC and/or validation of RF mixed-signal ICs
• have an advantage if you have good knowledge of automotive EMC standards
• have good RF knowledge
• are experienced in programming languages C# and C++.
• are familiar with tools i.e. LabVIEW
• have (RF) PCB design experience
• work pro-actively in problem solving, debugging and you are focused on solutions
• are used to a structured and analytical way of working
• are customer oriented
• have good communication skills and you are proficient in English
• are a team player
NXP offers competitive compensation. Due to Austrian law we are obliged to state the minimum gross salary according to legal regulations and for this role this amounts to EUR 42.700 gross. Depending on experience and education higher remuneration is possible.
