• Analyzing and managing customer and internal requirements
• Developing microwave product specifications
• Coordinating internal and external research activities
• Cooperating with other engineering teams within the IEE Group
• Communicating with customers, suppliers and external R&D partners
• Managing funded research projects
• Collaborating closely with multiple partners, inside and outside the IEE Group, on R&D activities. This includes working with universities and research institutes involved in projects to develop next generation technology
• An academic degree (Engineer/Scientist/PhD) in electronics, physics, computer science and/or mathematics
• Excellent knowledge of the current state-of-the-art in radar technology
• A high level of knowledge/considerable experience in
• Basic microwave technology, antennas, and radar operation modes
• Semiconductor chips for radar and low-cost microwave circuit technology
• Traditional and future methods for radar signal processing
• Automotive electronics and integration of embedded radar algorithms
• Automotive radar system specification, system design, simulation and verification
• Car integration and testing of radar systems
• Computer simulation
• Using a state-of-the-art tool-chain is used to generate embedded software based on models
• Experience in automotive requirements and requirements management is an asset
• A team player
• Excellent communication skills: active listening, the ability to solve problems
• A good level of English is mandatory, German and/or French are considered as strong assets
