Junior Linux Software Engineer (m / f) Job Description

DSP Group is looking for a Junior Linux Software Development Engineer for a role in our Linux/BSP team.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Graduate, where the successful candidate will benefit in developing his skills, supported by a long-term specialized training period, and on-the-job learning from other members of this experienced specialist team.
   
Description and responsibilities

• Design and development of VoIP and multimedia systems based on Linux
• Software development in C and assembler for embedded systems
• Development and maintenance of the Board Support Package (a complete Linux distribution)
• Chip- and hardware validation.
• Collaboration in an international team across multiple sites

Junior Linux Software Engineer (m / f) Job Requirements

Requirements

• Recently finished Master studies of Science in Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or in any other appropriate studies
• Interest in embedded systems and experience with Linux, ideally on ARM-CPUs
• Programming skills in “C” (Must) and “(ARM-)Assembler” (Advantage)
• German and English language – Must
• Willingness to travel and support customers on-site – Must
• Experience with Android and audio frameworks for Linux – Advantage
