Lead Engineer (m/f) Job Description

The Rotating Equipment Department is responsible for conceptual design, specifications, inquiry, procurement order follow up and testing of machinery like turbo compressors, steam turbines, reciprocating compressors, gas turbines and pumps in various services installed in PC-, NG- and HS-plants.
 
Your responsibilities:

• In-house calculation and selection of turbo compressors, steam turbines and gas turbines by using internal sizing programs

• Conceptual inquiry of rotating equipment at machine OEMs

• Communication of the application needs and evaluation of competitive rotating equipment concepts based on strategic and project specific requirements (cost, sizing, operation flexibility, reliability, availability, etc.)

• Bid review and preparation of technical bid analysis including preparation of technical recommendations

• Preparation of presentations on finally selected concepts for internal communication as well as for client meetings

• Order follow up, inspection and testing of rotating equipment

• Trouble shooting of machinery damages and machinery related site issue

Lead Engineer (m/f) Job Requirements

Your qualification:

• Master in Mechanical Engineering or related fields

• 5 years experience in the field of rotating equipment installed in Chemical-, Petrochemical- and Oil & Gas plants

• Efficient and target oriented interface approach to other disciplines, external partners and clients for execution of conceptual process integration of rotating equipment

• Strong communication skills German/English, excellent skills in technical English

• Willingness to travel worldwide
