The Mirion Technologies (Canberra BNLS) NV Sales & Service team is responsible for supporting our customers in the Benelux area. We are there to provide you with guidance on new solutions from the Mirion group as well as provide support and service on the existing installed base.
Job description:
For our Service Department we are looking for a new service engineer (Physicist).
This person will be responsible for Software Service and Support for our customers in the Benelux (in-house and on site), in close collaboration with Canberra’s international and local Service and Support department. You will understand the customer’s measurement application and provide support in installation, training and repair of his measurement installation in a correct way. You will also provide feedback to our internal service organization for improving our products and services. You report directly to the Service Manager based in Zellik.
Your main responsibilities consist of:
• Adaptation and setup of our software products including report writer and databases
• Install hardware and application software products
• Setup of application software in Client-Server and Desktop architecture (Windows based)
• Provide customer training and familiarization
• Help/Advice to our customers and provide software and application supports.
• Support our sales team
• Good Knowledge in Nuclear Physics
• Experience in Windows Operating systems and Windows-Networking
• Interest in analogue and digital Electronics
• Strong communication skills
• Good organizational and administrative skills
Languages:
• Fluent in English, Dutch and French
Required profile:
• Master Degree in Physics
• Interpersonal skills:

- Happy to travel within Benelux and possibly Scandinavia,
- Highly motivated,
- Team player
