Head of Global Inventory Management (m/f) Job Description

• Lead production and logistics teams
• Implement tools for stock level optimization
• Optimize supply and demand planning 
• Implement standardized inventory reporting and controlling 
• Manage, control and develop box publishers 
• Manage box publisher contracts
• Select and implement inventory management systems 
• Develop standardized supply chain processes
• Coordinate product launches with fous on production and logistics 
• Secure cost saving production mode

Head of Global Inventory Management (m/f) Job Requirements

• Degree in business administration with specification in logistics and/or business informatics
• Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain management for direct materials in the area of IT retail products or similar product groups
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing logistics, demand planning or purchasing teams
• Extended experience in larger software implementation projects related to supply chain management
• Fluent German and excellent English language skills
• Very good knowledge of using MS Office products and ERP packages: materials management, production planning, warehousing
• Specific understanding of theories and practices in demand and supply planning, purchasing, supplier management and customer relationship management
• Team player with the ability to integrate to and work in an international working environment as well as willingness to travel
• Very good leadership and managerial skills
• Comprehensive analytical skills
• High stress resistance and ability to work under pressure
• High communicative and proactive working style
