Senior Project Manager (m/f) Job Description

Your mission
  
As Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for delivering multiple Software Development projects to schedule within the assigned (resource) budget. Your experience, technical knowledge and mastery of different project management methods and tools enables you, to successfully manage interrelated process stages and the supporting processes.
Proficiency in portfolio management, program management and quality assurance is beneficial. Excellent stakeholder management skills are required to successfully balance different stakeholder interests and support the team to achieve great results.
   
Your job   

• You plan projects based on the Product Owner’s requirements – accounting for cross-project dependencies – using the appropriate method or framework.
• You ensure smooth development processes and anticipate possible challenges together with the team.
• You support the team during development, monitor the progress and communicate variances to the approved project plan promptly and clearly.
• You strive for continual improvement and change management concepts effectively.
• You work with specialist departments to improve efficiency and quality.
• You act as main point of contact for the project team, stakeholders and the management board.
• You accomplish given objectives through thorough risk, issue and change management.
• You successfully deliver projects to agreed schedule and scope.
• You coach, train and mentor less experienced members of the project management department.

Senior Project Manager (m/f) Job Requirements

Your profile
   

• You graduated in computer science / information management (Bachelor, Masters) or you gained relevant knowledge through equivalent work experience.
• You gained several years of experience managing complex software development projects.
• You have a large repertoire of project management tools and methods; CSM or CSP certifications are an advantage.
• You demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects without losing track.
• You have a strong sense of responsibility, are disciplined and detail-oriented.
• You act with an open and collaborative attitude, are willing to share your knowledge and one of your keys to success is learning from others.
• Your work approach is hands-on, proactive and always has a positive baseline.
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills (English & German).
