Product Strategy Specialist - Graphic Arts
Defining and driving innovative (workflow) products & solutions enabling customers to accelerate their business.
Your challenge
In this role you are the initiator of new product development for professional digital printing solutions for the graphic arts market (e.g. commercial printing, book production, direct marketing). You are challenged to identify and drive the creation of end-to-end workflows and solutions (software and hardware) enabling customers being successful in their business.
You deploy your expertise and experience gained in the world of professional printing to define future solutions and products. With your knowledge of the graphic arts market, its dynamics, trends, major technology vendors or suppliers, and the needs of customers, you know what it takes to develop successful digital printing solutions. You develop strong visions and scenarios, create appealing concepts and ideas, and build attractive business cases to convince your key stakeholders, like Product Development and senior management teams of Océ and Canon Headquarters (HQ).
You challenge (internal) market analysts, product managers, and experts in product development on your scenarios, concepts, requirements and specifications. Moreover you interact with your counterparts (colleagues of Product Planning) of Canon HQ in Tokyo, and the Canon Sales Organizations worldwide.
With approved business cases you initiate project start proposals, participate in assigned Product Line Management Teams, and contribute throughout the entire project by guarding — and if needed, adapting — project specifications.
