Embedded Real-Time Software Specialists Job Description

Currently, we give support to ALTEN on European level in searching of candidates, mainly for IT/ Telecom and Engineering positions. For one of our clients form telecommunication sector based in Brussels, Belgium, we are looking for Embedded Real-Time Software Specialists with at least 5 years of experience.  


The main responsibilities for this position are:

• Analyze, define and anticipate technology choices at an architecture level
• Manage and take part to the development
• Follow up the project within the quality and methodology framework
• Follow up deadlines and financial reporting
• Define test strategy, and follow-up in coordination with different team

Embedded Real-Time Software Specialists Job Requirements

The candidate we are looking for should have the following skills:

• Hands on experience on best practice and perfect understanding of memory management, CPU management and real-time management constraints
• Hands on experience on some Real Time OS (VxWorks…)
• Knowledge of some communication protocols would be a great advantage
• Knowledge of Multimedia application would be an advantage (video or image compression standards...)
• Extensive experience in embedded software development for real time systems (at least 5years)
• Very good skills in English
