Senior Database Programmer

The job
In this position you are responsible for overseeing and providing advanced technical support related to data management applications required for clinical studies. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining study databases for high priority/pivotal studies, Global studies or studies with complex study design. You will participate in Global harmonization activities as related to building study databases and apply advanced knowledge in the programming of complicated validation checks, intermediate to complicated reports and system interfaces.

Your personal qualifications
• BS/BA degree in Computer Science
• At least 4 years of experience with pharmaceutical clinical research applications general guidelines, combined with strong computer skills, including knowledge of database software
• Knowledge of the drug development process and solid understanding of relational database structure
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and reporting tools like J-Review, Business Objects, Crystal Reports and preferably knowledge of other programming languages (for example JAVA, C#, C++)
• Excellent communication skills in English
