Test Engineer Job Description

The majority of the tests are conducted on site. Specific test will be performed at the customer or at specialized test facilities. The test engineer will analyze acquired data and will report his/her finding to the lead system engineer and/or MAIT Lead (manufacturing Assembly Integration and Test)
 
Main tasks and responsibilities:
·         Provide input to project teams to support the system engineer writing test programs
·         Provide input to project teams to support designing test setups
·         Advise/inform operations on the need and possible solutions for test equipment or data acquisition devices
·         Build up test setups according official released test program requirements
·         Create test software to enable autonomic test procedures (e.g. Labview)
·         Conduct tests according official released predefined program
·         Analyze test data
·         Report to the (lead) system engineer and/or MAIT Lead on test results
·         On request support Systems engineering and Product Assurance when non conformities, with respect to testing activities, arise

Test Engineer Job Requirements

The ideal candidate would have: 

• A Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar education with experience in a relevant position through internships or work in an aerospace or similar environment.
• Has strong technical, communication and analytical skills
• Is sufficient in English in both speaking and writing.
• Being sufficient in Dutch and English in speaking and writing is considered a pre
