As an Integration Engineer within R&D, you are responsible for the integration and testing of multidisciplinary products or systems. You cooperate with the project leaders with regards to focus areas: requirements changes, configurations and test and validation. You use these focus areas as tools for quality control and assurance and to identify and report potential risks and technical issues in an early stage. In the position of Integration Engineer, it is important that you can balance quality, lead time, costs and technology.
Your responsibilities
• Secure functionality and quality of systems concerning requirements. Develop and supervise test and validation activities, both in house (factory) and on site,
• Pro-active co-ordination and communication with internal and external specialists of all disciplines, project leaders and other stakeholders.
• Fundamental understanding of the complete (sub)system.
• Pinpointing problems and solving issues by creativity in complex situations.
• Active support in roll-out of new systems to customers and execute system tests and integration in the test facilities and on site.
• You have a relevant Master degree, e.g.software engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or comparable.
• Broad technical interest in mechanics, equipment control, logistic control, electronics, robotics, sensors.
• Experience with V-model, requirements engineering and system testing is a pre.
• You are able to speak, read and write in Dutch (or willing to learn) and English.
• You are able and willing to travel globally for up to 30% of your time
