Security Expert critical infrastructures
Your challenge
The rapid digitalization of the electricity grid and other critical infrastructures poses a wealth of new security challenges, which require a new way of thinking for both the affected industry and security professionals. An ENCS Security Expert develops thought leadership in selected areas, leads projects and creates and initiates and maintains relationships with ENCS stakeholder groups. The security expert is specialized in one, but preferably more, of the following areas: security architecture, risk-/ security assessments & testing, control & power systems of critical infrastructures, embedded systems, ICS/SCADA security, smart grid security, Security management.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and participate in projects.
• Create security solutions for our customers.
• Develop a deep understanding on our customers operations, procedures, and requirements, especially in the electricity sector.
• Initiate and maintain relations with ENCS members, partners and prospects.
• Create content by performing studies, resolving problems, writing opinions, evaluations and papers.
Your profile
The security expert is specialized in one, but preferably more, of the following areas: security architecture, risk-/ security assessments & testing, control & power systems of critical infrastructures, embedded systems, ICS/SCADA security, smart grid security, Security management.
• Minimal Master degree.
• Authority in one of the areas of expertise mentioned above.
• In addition to your field of expertise, have a broad overview on the state of the art in security development as well as the ability to find realistic solutions for concrete use cases.
• International business experience.
• Preferred: candidates with a good network in relevant regulatory bodies and industry.
• Preferred: experience in security projects in the ENCS working field.
• Ability to lead activities on a specific topic, and to refine, develop and implement solutions in that area.
• Ability to learn about the special requirements and possibilities in critical infrastructures, especially the electricity sector, and translate security experience to their needs.
• Excellent communication skills; Fluency in English and technical writing skills in English.
• You recognize yourself in the following key words: customer minded, result driven, independent worker and a team player.
