Hardware Electro Engineer Job Description

• You will draw up specifications for switch panel controls. This will be done in consultation with specialist mechanical engineers and in line with valid norms and instructions.
• You will be responsible for bringing together product information for preparing manuals.
• You will be responsible for testing the controls which you have developed.
• Working together with Customer Support Engineers you will resolve by telephone faults occurring on equipment already commissioned.

Hardware Electro Engineer Job Requirements

• You are able to work and think at MBO+/HBO level (intermediate/higher vocational education), acquired through education and/or experience.
• You have experience of EPLAN P8 and an affinity with PLC controls.
• You work meticulously and are able to function in multi-disciplinary teams.
• You have a strong affinity with mechanics, industrial automation and applications in the food industry.

• You are a team player. This means that you make your contribution to motivated co-operation between all workers both inside and outside of the department.
• You are pragmatic. This means that you flesh out in a practical way the valid norms and rules within the dynamic environment where you are active, an environment with challenging preconditions.
• You have good communication skills. You make easy contact with people at different levels. You listen to others and are able to put thoughts and intentions clearly into words.
• You are customer orientated. You take the concerns of your own and other teams into account and see your own team's contribution as part of the total.
