As an Electronic / Software Engineer you are responsible for the development and project coordination of electronic door control systems and associated software.
You make the designs based on technical and functional specifications supplied by the customer.
Tasks and responsibilities of the Electronic / Software Engineer, amongst others, are:
•The preparation of technical and functional specifications of innovative door control systems;
•The development, independently or as a member of a team, of innovative door control systems and / or related products according to established procedures;
•To provide all necessary technical documentation pertaining to the door control systems;
•Maintaining close contacts with customers and suppliers during the design process;
•Maintaining close contacts with colleagues from other departments within the organization such as Sales, Purchasing,Production & Logistics, Quality and Service;
•Providing support to customers on location during installation and commissioning of the first door systems and providing training to the relevant personnel.
For this position you need the following qualifications:
•Completed Bachelor's degree in Electronics an/or Software Engineering;
•Knowledge of and interest in pneumatic and electrical systems;
•Knowledge of electronic systems, microprocessor controllers and software;
•Knowledge of CAN bus networks and network diagnostic software;
•Flexible attitude and open to international travel on regular basis;
•Good communication skills;
•Good knowledge of the English and German language.
