Rotating Specialist Job Description

Total is hiring a Rotating Specialist (m/f) for the Anwerp Platform in Antwerp/

• Execute availability action plans in line with the Antwerp platform objectives
• Analysis and reporting of equipment failures. Intensive communication with the Business Teams to collect data, do root cause analysis, identify new availability issues, …
• Recommendations for availability improvements to equipment including discussion of the justification together with the Business Teams/Zone Teams.
• Develop long term availability action plans in cooperation with the Business Teams/Zone Teams and Maintenance including replacement/renovation
• Assist the Turn Around/Shut Down/Maintenance organisation and the Business Teams/Zone Teams in critical and complex technical matters with high availability impact.
• Build up and/or keep up to date technical expertise in his specific discipline
• Participate actively to networking meetings and use these contacts to solve Antwerp platform issues. Take the lead in the Antwerp platform internal networking.
• Improvement and development of best practices for the Antwerp platform.
• Write procedures/methods and define maintenance policies for equipment (preventive, predictive, spare parts, …)
• Advise project groups on new equipment or large modifications. Improve and correct  specifications for availability/reliability reasons.
• Coaching/teaching of other departments in methods with major availability impact (operating, repair, ...)

Rotating Specialist Job Requirements

• You are a civil engineer with a good understanding of the overall refinery processes.
• You have a min. 10 years experience and are familiar with international standards.
• You demonstrate analytical strengths and are competent in the reliability methods.
• You are familiar with PC applications and have excellent communication skills.
• You speak Dutch and English.
