Introduction
The sector Operations is responsible for the production of wafer steppers and scanners. The complete production process of the most advanced machines takes place within Manufacturing.
The Tool Center (TC) is responsible for the registration, storages, maintenance, calibration and certification of production tools which are required for building and calibration and qualification of the products.
Job Mission
The Tool Center Engineering department is responsible for the introduction, maintenance, and optimization of new (logistic) processes for the tool management process. With as goal to optimize the productivity and time-to-market. Job DescriptionIn this function you will be the technical conscience and have the professional knowledge of the department to influence/define/improve/implement the processes regarding tool ordering and tool management processes.
Main tasks are:
•Initiate and implement (Logistic) process improvements for Tool Management within Operations.
•Support and influence adjacent department, like: Industrial Engineering, Development Engineering and Global Logistic Services, regarding tool management.
•Safeguard and maintain the required knowledge of tool management.
•Interact with suppliers to setup and optimize the tool management processes.
•Embed new processes in the present organization in such a way that it's transparent on all levels.
•Analyze and improve the present WOW in the different Tool Centers.
BSc or MSc degree.
Knowledge and/or affinity with logistical processes.
Experience
•Min 3 years workexperience•Knowledge and understanding of logistical complex processes, and organization.
•Experience with ERP-systems (like SAP), MS Excel, MS Access, and reporting tooling.
•Experience in the field of Logistical Engineering and/or designing logistical processes is a pre.
•Experience in leading or participating project is a pre.•Hands-on experience in transport & packaging is pre.
•Experience with developing and maintaining webbased software tool is pre.
