Duties:
Developing the company's global supplier base
Identifying new suppliers and building supplier relationships
Negotiating costs
Expedite and ensure on time delivery
Stores management including carrying out stock checks and supervising staff
Skills and Experience:
Previous buying experience in a mechanical engineering environment including knowledge of fabrications
Excellent negotiation skills
Experience of working with global suppliers
Able to manage own work load and supervise staff
