IT Security Analyst Job Description

As a IT Security Analyst, you will be working in the Secure systems team and reporting to the division's Manager.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing Qualysguard scanning activities
• Creating, executing, maintaining scan profiles and asset lists
• Generating reports and communicate issues to the compliance team 
• Vendor management for product escalations, product troubleshooting
• Adhering to the company'sstandards and schedules at onsite
• Response to administrator enquiries from client
• Monitoring Vulnerability Management Inbox and maintenance of Qualys/FIM queue in “Service Now”, elp the company's security team in closing Qualys/FIM related tickets
• Initial assessment of incident impact to enterprise
• Support Change Request for Qualys/FIM
• Providing Operational Reports on Qualys/FIM based enterprise status on antivirus related security
• Adhoc/Custom reports upon requests
• Maintaining set of standard procedures for tasks

IT Security Analyst Job Requirements

We are looking for a person with the following qualifications, experience and skills:

Qualifications:

• Qualification in the absence of a Degree/HND 
• Excelent level of English
• Must be EU Citizen or possess a UK Tier 1 General Visa whish entitles the applicant to take up a full time and permanent job if successful in their application

• Minimum 2 years experience in in IT security( ie anti-virus or firewall)

• Systems Administration experience in Windows Server 2003 or later versions
• Experience in infrastructure services; DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS
• Experience with enterprise vulnerability scanning products such as Qualys or Nessus

• Experience of File Integrity Monitoring (FIM)
• Experience with File Integrity Monitoring such as tripwire
• Network Security - Analysis troubleshooting skills 
• Protocol analysis ( TCP/IP required, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SIP) 
• Technical certifications such as GCWN, GISP, GPEN are a plus (CISSP is preferred) 
• Experience of transferring systems, upgrading products, deployment products, troubleshooting, etc. 
• Understand the change management process will be a plus.
