Oversee and execute the daily requirements of operation at a specific customer site, as defined by the governing contract.The AE works at the direction of the Sales Engineer, with the common objectives as outlined by the site AIT.The AE is expected to be a permanent member of the governing body (AIT) and lead or participate in any efforts of that group.
The AE will assist and be responsible for continuous update of the SIS as necessary to monitor and evaluate the status of the agreement. The AE is expected to oversee the seal conversion process; including measurement, design, delivery, installation and operation.
The AE will prioritize the engineering and manufacturing functions of Flowserve to meet the customer expectations. The AE will function as the primary source of information regarding the design, application, installation, and operation of mechanical seals.
The AE will assist in failure analysis and provide input as to the mechanical condition and the ability of equipment to perform its intended function. The AE is expected to support the MOC process with all the required documentation.
With guidance from the Regional and/or Senior AE’s, Sales Engineer, and/or District Sales Manager, innovate and develop new methods of solving problems and modify existing seal designs to meet specific customer needs and improve seal life..
Assist in training customers to help assure that our products are being selected and used properly and add to customer satisfaction.
Provide both in-house and on-site customer services by examining failed products, providing written and oral explanations to customers and assisting with on-site start-up and troubleshooting. This service would be provided to all the customers of the south-East region who would need it.
