Job Description
The Business Unit Generator Tubes and Components (BU-GTC) develops and manufactures products for medical imaging devices. Main components are X-ray generators, X-ray tubes, X-ray grids and scintillators. The BU-GTC grid facility is developing a new technology for manufacturing 2D- anti-scatter grids out of pure tungsten with 3D metal printing technologies. For this process, state-of-the-art laser melting equipment has been developed. In the Engineering Team of BU GTC-grids we are searching for an entrepreneurial Material Engineer (Metallurgy) to support the further development of the 3D metal printing process, optimizing material characteristics and product designs. We offer a unique position in an innovative state-of-the-art 3D metal printing environment.
