Software Consultant J2EE / JEE / JAVA Enterprise Job Description

In this position you provide consulting to our customers and partners during the implementation phase of their projects with our client’s software. You are typically working with colleagues from various departments, such as business, product management, marketing and IT, as well as project managers and developers. The position requires regular travelling, as you are not only working at your office site, but also on customers and partners premises.

What are the main responsibilities of a Sofware Consultant:

• Provide in depth knowledge of their platform and products
• Support successful project implementation phase on business, conceptual, programming level
• Manage customer requirements
• Design and conduct workshops
• Initiate and execute reviews
• Occasionally run training

Software Consultant J2EE / JEE / JAVA Enterprise Job Requirements

What does Reesmarx require of a Software Consultant:
 

• University degree in computer science, comparable education or job experience
• Excellent knowledge in OO software architecture/design
• Sound programming experience in Java/JEE
• Experience in front end technologies, UML and framework technologies
• Previous experience in a lead architect or project management position within a development environment
• Previous customer facing experience, preferably working with business users
• Ideally experience in eCommerce and/or product information management (PIM) and/or automated database publishing
• Excellent capabilities in local language according to your location
• Excellent written and verbal English language skills
• Sound communication and presentation skills
• Open personality, team spirit and a strong desire to learn
• Strong organizational and solution oriented working style
