Senior Java Developer Job Description

A leading global brand are expanding their Stockholm office and are looking for number Java developers / Senior Java Developers to specialise in either Web, Payments or Platform development. This is a unique opportunity to be part of something new and big and work with the best in the social games industry.
You will work in small autonomous Agile / Scrum teams that control the whole process, developing purely greenfield projects. In some roles you will be responsible for making architectural decisions. You will be building from the ground up creating super clean efficient code without a reliance on frameworks (very few are used). You will be responsible for the quality of your code using TDD.  

Senior Java Developer Job Requirements

3 teams are currently recruiting Java developers / Senior Java developers: Payments – You’ll need experience of PSP integrations and/or payment solutions. The systems built will handle millions of transactions daily. You’ll be developing and optimising a high-quality framework for integrations. Web - You’ll be developing a new web platform. You’ll need strong Java, Javascript (backbone, RequireJS etc are preferred), HTML and CSS skills. You’ll be developing a platform with new levels of social interaction used my millions, so experience in a highly transactional environment is desirable. Platform – You’ll need expert Java knowledge and have a deep understanding of performance tuning and scalability. You’ll also be used to working with NoSQL databases.

Senior Java Developer Application Information

All roles offer excellent career progression. You can move teams (including into mobile, C++ etc.) get professional training and you’ll be sharing knowledge with a highly technical team assembled from the globe, and at the same time have fun and be challenged. Roles are paying between 40-52K SEK per month gross. Relocation will be handled professionally and assistance of 84K SEK (£8,000) is available.
