Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineering Job Description

The role of the Function Owner Hybrid Systems is to

·      Manage the project delivery within agreed time and quality

·      Act as Project management steering team leader

·      Lead meetings at all levels

·      Ownership, coordination and management of major issue resolution

·      Report major issues and program status to management

·      Develop and release subsystem specification

·      Generate quality and robustness documentation

Key Skills

·      Project management skills/experience

·      Detailed expertise in modern automotive systems and electronic components

·      Expertise in CAN and LIN communication and able to use tools like Vector CANoe and CANalyzer

·      Expertise in the product quality process and its deliveries such as FMEA

·      Powertrain control system experience

·      Understanding of electronic control design

·      Understanding of complete powertrain control system including software and calibration

·      Strong character able to perform confident  in front of senior management

·      Excellent Communication skills

·      Good level of English, both verbal and writing

Education/Experience

·      Electronics Engineering Degree

·      Previous experience in the automotive industry working in the area of electrical system engineering and/or project management

IT skills/experience

·      MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

·      MS Project

·      Other project management tools
