Title: Body Structures - Underframe (Hotcure): Engineer CAD
Location: Norfolk
Duration: 6 Months +
Rate: Upto £32p/h
Position Description:
Catia v5 CAD Engineer Body Structures Underframe (Hotcure): Creation of CAD geometry in support of surface and VTS . Provide CAD support, leading and progressing design in line with the programme timescales and deliverables and cadence. Ensure data is up to date and reflects the required levels of maturity at any given point in time. Liaise with other areas within Body Engineering, other affected functional areas, the supply base and programme teams, to ensure system compatibility issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Content consists of aluminium and plastic components including extrusions, A-class aluminium pressings, SMC/plastic moldings, foldings, sheet, brackets. Aluminium Castings
Skills Required:
Catia v5 is a minimum requirement, Engineering knowledge of Body Structures/BiW design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements.
Experience Required:
Successful history as a CAD Designer/Engineer in the automotive sector.
