Senior Digital Design Engineer - FPGA, Board Design Job Description

Based in the Netherlands the FPGA / Digital Electronics Design Engineer will be responsible for the full development, including equipment analysis, architectural and detailed design of the FPGA design as part of the digital electronics of a high-end modem system used for Satellite communications. Key tasks will include: detailed digital design, including VHDL, Board Level Simulations and Schematic Entry; Support of the product development team; Digital Documentation.

The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree along with the following skills:
* A proven background in Digital and FPGA Development
* Hands on knowledge of VHDL
* Design and development experience of high-speed advanced digital circuitry, knowledge of signal integrity aspects
* Understanding of modulation / demodulation techniques, coding techniques and other DSP techniques s
