Tender Specialist Job Description

As a Tender Specialist you will report to the Head of Commercial Operations. You will support the sales team answering public tenders. In addition to the management of tenders, you will also be responsible to follow the legislation and the new customers' requirements.

The specific responsibilities among others are:

• You are responsible for the management of the data related to the databases and tools supporting the tender process.
• You are responsible for the continuous monitoring of the tender submission process such as the format, timing, completeness, consistency and compliance with overall requirements:
• Advise and challenge the sales team in dealing with each tender (approach and tactics)
• Prepare the structure of the RDB's response: administrative parts, technical parts and financial offer
• Contribute to the production of the tender offer including all the required documents
• You take part in the project team for Strategic deals
• You are the gatekeeper in the set-up of the internal preparation process with focus on standardization and increasing efficiency
  • You ensure the completeness of the execution of the order, the monitoring of all liabilities related to the tender and the follow up of contracts and agreements with third parties

Tender Specialist Job Requirements

• Preferably a master degree (engineer or scientific)
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a hospital working in a purchasing department (and tendering) or a technical department
• You are a fast learner and a team player. Support and facilitate knowledge sharing 
• You are extremely well-organised, a self-starter able to prioritise and manage multiple activities at any time
• You have a high level of autonomy, you pay attention to details, you meet the set deadlines and deliver correct and complete information
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Languages: Fluent in French, Dutch and English
