Department
In the state-of-art engine development center our client develops engine families for the future vehicle roadmap and regulations. The Department Engine Integration & Validation is responsible for the development of all vehicle electrical systems and functions related to engine controls.
Job Description
As an engine controls engineer your will gather the requirements of the requested software functionality and develop new software functions and engine controls with simulation tools like Matlab Simulink. Further, you are involved in the test and validation process (MIL, HIL and RCP test) on an engines to fulfill the performance requirements. You will support R&D engine experimental activities during testing on an engine, write a Requirement Specification and work closely together in multi-disciplinary development and project teams.
Your competences
You should have a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Dynamics and Controls or Automotive Engineering, preferably with practical knowledge on internal combustion engines. You have a minimum of 3 years experience with software functionality development, by preference for diesel engines. Futher you have a good knowledge and experience with MatLab, Simulink and DSpace, Monte Carlo Simulations.
Personal skills
The candidate should have a structured working approach combined with pleasure to work in teams. Enthusiasm to deal with complex engine controls and to develop solutions for the engine control related technical problems You have very good communication skills in English and the willingness to learn Dutch.
