Egemin Life Sciences (BE-NL-CH) part of the Egemin Automation group, with headquarters in Antwerp.
Egemin delivers comprehensive solutions in logistics and production environments, but also has a strong presence in the fields of technical consultancy and technical services.
The centre of our industry  is all about patient safety and welfare and the ever-present requirement to make cost savings. Egemin responds to these challenges through GMP compliance consultancy, engineering services and automated solutions.

For our Automation Business Unit within the division Life Sciences we are seeking an enthusiastic teamplayer who has the ambition to further develop Egemin’s international success in the Life Sciences industry.


The main responsibilities of the Business Unit Manager Automation are:

• As Business Unit Manager you have overall responsibility for the profit & loss of the Automation business to meet the division’s goals. You develop and execute strategic and tactical business plans. Monitor, manage and report on key business metrics and program objectives.
• Therefore you take end responsibility for engineering & program management :
  • You are responsible for making deadlines which meet the profitability and performance goals of the business unit.
  • You are the point of contact for the project managers. Together, you review and validate the project objectives, you follow-up and control to assure that predetermined results will be achieved.
• You compose and lead a diverse team of talented process and electrical/controls engineers so you can guarantee an optimal allocation of competent and motivated employees to the operational teams.
• You maintain high-level  contacts with strategic customers and partners.
• You will collaborate with sales/marketing, purchasing and other cross-functional teams to meet the objectives of each program.
• You analyse internal processes and continually improve engineering and standard operation procedures.
• You follow-up on new technologies and trends in the Life Sciences industry.
• You report to the manager of our Life Sciences division.
