As an Engineer / Consultant you will
Provide system evaluation, support and consultancy to NRG clients worldwide on safety and operational issues for technologically complex nuclear and petrochemical installations. You will design modifications from initiation untill order, by drawing up specifications, working out concepts and investment proposals. As a rule, you will work in projects and report on the project after finishing. Within the team of 15 specialist consultants, mainly engineers like you, you will contribute to the growth and sharing of knowledge and team performance, and by developing, publishing and presenting on new ideas and methods.
NRG consulting engineers serve a broad range of clients worldwide. Part of the job is in managing the contact and building the relation with ‘your’ clients and accounts. In your role you will get support from the Risk Management (Risk Analysis), Asset Integrity and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) teams. In this diverse and challenging role, you can make a start on one of three job levels, depending on your skills and experience. On level 1 specific nuclear knowledge and experience is not a hard must yet. But you have to be able and willing to pass the nuclear courses and trainings, leading to know-how of nuclear systems and thermohydraulics.
