Fokker Aerostructures is currently looking for a Lead Stress Engineer for our Technology unit in Papendrecht, The Netherlands.
The unit Technology is responsible for designing and developing structural components. You will work as part of a team with the client to compile a list of requirements and make a preliminary design. Developing this into a detail design for production is the next step in the process. The unit remains responsible for the projects until the prototype and the first series of components have been produced after which the project is transferred to the Operations Organisation, that then takes over the responsibility for production in series.
