Approba mediates specialists / professionals with at least 3 years work experience, middle management, senior management and executives. Specialists / professionals with less than 3 years work experience are serviced by our sister orgisation Head-Starters.
The Senior CAE performs simulations for the internal engineering departments, the automotive, the high-tech machine building and other suppliers of vehicle projects.
Next to automotive engineering, the organisation focusses on other engineering area’s earlier mentioned, like high-tech machine building, but public transportation as well. In every project the following CAE software is used, Abaqus, Nastran, Optistruct and more.
The main responsibilities of the CAE Engineer are:
You perform finite element analyses (FEA), starting with the generation of models to reporting the results. The analyses will be carried out on mechanical components and systems of the vehicle, but also on total vehicle level.
In all cases, the latest software will be used. You are responsible for realisation of projects within the agreed time frame and budget, with the expected level of quality. You maintain contacts with our engineers and with the internal and external customers. Depending on the project, it might be necessary to operate at different locations. Your job is to guide the other engineers within the group and to develop new and / or more efficient methods to analyse the behaviour of complex mechanical systems. The work consists of linear / non-linear, static, dynamic, fatigue or thermal analysis of components and systems, and combinations of the mentioned analyses.
