Team Lead HTML5 Game Developer Job Description

You will face a high traffic platform with more than 80 million monthly visitors that requires performance-oriented and well-structured programming.

Your tasks

• Development of casual games with HTML5
• Further development of GameDuell’s existing games and our website
• Development of new features
• Creation of the mobile website
• Team Leader of around six developers
• Coach and mentor other HTML5 Developer
• Code reviews and expert valuation of work results
• Support of the recruiting process to continuously expand the team

Team Lead HTML5 Game Developer Job Requirements

What we expect

• You have mastered the concept of object-oriented programming
• Several years of experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS3 and/or Java
• Proficient with jQuery and Canvas
• Management experience and corresponding communication skills
• Ideally experience in game development with HTML5
• Profound understanding of mobile web development
• Experience with agile software development, ideally with scrum
• A good eye for design and a working understanding of high usability
• An eagerness to work both independently and as a part of a team
