Part of our Research & Development organization, the Software Development Center (SDC) is responsible for the software development for cut sheet and wide format print systems; integration, verification, architecture, design and implementation. Workflow controller software is linking users and print engines driving system behavior and workflow and job management. Junior Software Architect
bringing software development to a next level by analyzing and solving complex problems
Your job
Related to system behavior, job and workflow management you are developing solutions to simplify and/or improve existing software architecture and technology. Or solutions for issues currently faced within Controller Development.
You focus on understanding the functionalities of controller software and its architecture by analyzing problems and constraints. Based on your findings you create the functional and design specifications, and you develop models and algorithms for implementation. Because software designs are highly integrated with embedded software, interfaces and applications you cooperate with developers and architects. After successful validation you convince project leaders and management about the added value and benefits for Controller Development.
