Part of our Research & Development organization, the Software Development Center (SDC) is responsible for the software development for cut sheet and wide format print systems; integration, verification, architecture, design and implementation. Workflow controller software is linking users and print engines driving system behavior and workflow and job management. It deals with dynamics of user interactions, bitmap data processing and device control. For the Controller Development team we are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious

Your job
You are involved in the entire design process, responsible for a subsystem or a feature. Having the overall system requirements in mind, you deliver high quality software.
You gather requirements, write specifications and make software designs both functional and technical. Because your design is highly integrated within other subsystems, interfaces and applications you work in close cooperation with your colleagues. Together you discuss topics like feasibility, scalability and system behavior. Also you support software architects on issues. You come up with keen solutions solving constraints. You ensure realization of your design, and the software fits in the overall software architecture.
