Video Watermarking and Fingerprinting Scientist (PhD or MSc)
The research team consists of research scientists with expertise in audio and video processing and research engineers with backgrounds in software engineering.
Job description
The responsibilities for the Senior Scientist include:
• Developing new and enhancing current algorithms,
• Transferring new algorithms to the development team,
• Keep up to date with developments in the academic world with respect to watermarking, fingerprinting and related technologies.
• Provide technical consulting to the development and business teams.
• Looking for opportunities to strengthen the patent portfolio
Education
• Ph.D. (or M.Sc. with at least 3 year industry experience) in electrical engineering, computer science, or a closely related field.
• Background in signal, image and video processing.
• Background in human visual models, watermarking, and video compression is a plus.
• Experience with Matlab and C/C++ programming.
• Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
• Good communications skills.
• A proactive attitude and a drive to translate research into real, tangible products
Personal skills
Team player with excellent communication and writing skills in English. Customer focus, both analytical and practical skills, flexible attitude and commitment are key for this role. Strong analytical ability with a pragmatic attitude, perfect communicational skills and good knowledge of English, able to display a “helicopter”-view, meticulous, perseverance, pro active, creative, can manage multiple projects at the same time, very good ability to handle stress and dealing with deadlines, flexible.
