Description
The Instrument Engineer analyses site equipment performance and responds to plant operational events. Drives site asset improvement in the areas of safety, reliability and equipment capability. Liaises with suppliers, contractors and project teams in acquiring instrumentation, ensuring that specifications are met and following the project through to commissioning.
We are looking for candidates with a degree in Electrical, Electronics or Process Control Engineering. Knowledge of the design and maintenance requirements of field instruments and instrumentation systems including flow/level/pressure/temperature devices, orifices, control valves, shutdown valves and Emergency Shutdown systems. Broad knowledge of hazardous area installations and ESD logic design. 5-10 years relevant professional experience within the petrochemical or Oil & Gas industry at an operating company or an engineering contractor.
