R&D Technical Manager Job Description

As part of our continued expansion in Europe we are seeking to appoint an R&D Technical Manager for our growing operations in our office in Madrid. Under the supervision of the Head of the Engineering Area, he will manage a team of senior engineers working in different disciplines.
 
Main Duties:

• Manage the assigned human and material resources.
• Coordinating and undertaking tasks of design and CAE/CAM for different R&D projects.
• Writing and reviewing technical reports and presenting results to clients.
• Manage suppliers and subcontractors at an international level.
• Participate / Coordinate writing of project proposals.

R&D Technical Manager Job Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Automated Systems or Energy), Naval or Aeronautics Engineering or Physics.
• Proven experience in the analysis and design in one of the following fields: machines, structures, industrial processes or automated systems.
• At least 2 years of experience using simulation software.
• At least 4 years in the industrial sector (Energy, Healthcare, Industry or Consumer Products)
• Proven experience in Technical Management and Outsourcing.
• Proven experience in the management of engineering work groups.
• Fluent oral and written English skills. Other languages will be valued.
• Availability for travelling within Europe.
• Results oriented
