The department
Our Postal and Parcel Engineering group carries out projects within multi-disciplinary teams which consists of Project Leaders, Lay Out, Mechanical and Software Commissioning Engineers.
The position
As software commissioning engineer, you will be involved in project designs and engineering at our Head Offices in Veghel. You will work on the configuration of our own developed controls software (low level software) and SCADA systems, you will also install these systems at our customer's sites world-wide. In this role you will check wiring, arrange electro mechanical components and set-up interfaces (e.g. TCP/IP) with equipment such as barcode scanners and weighing scales. You will fine tune your own engineered software configurations and get the software up and running.
You will work closely with client’s and subcontractors at the customer’s site where you will carry out installation, commissioning, tests and ensure final site acceptance. You enjoy the challenge of working in many countries with various customers being abroad.
