Job Mission
To contribute to the development of products by designing, creating and testing, (sub-) systems within the restrictions imposed by system specifications, costs and planning considerations, and is operational within multidisciplinary projects. Technology areas are: vacuum design and architecture, the H2, N2 and Ar gas design and Architecture, modeling of gasflows and analysis of debris mitigation and design of dynamic gas lock’s to prevent contaminants to enter clean environments.
Job Description
Candidate is responsible for the gasflow architecture of a (sub-)system deduced from high level performance requirements. Defines concepts within multidisciplinary architect team. Specifies, analyzes and steers the design in order to prevent contamination.
Education
MSc or PhD in Physics or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
Solid theoretical and experimental experience in the field of heat and mass flow, familiar with product development in a concurrent designing process, at least 3 years of related work experience.
Personal skills
Strong analytical ability with a pragmatic attitude, perfect communicational skills and good knowledge of English, able to display a “helicopter”-view, meticulous, perseverance, pro active, creative, can manage multiple projects at the same time, very good ability to handle stress and dealing with deadlines, flexible.
