(Senior) Manager Health Economics/Outcomes Research, Immunology/Bone

As the successful candidate for this key role, you will hold responsibility for the design, development and implementation of health economics and/or health outcomes research strategies and projects to demonstrate the payer value of various compounds of UCBs late stage and in-market portfolio in the Immunology and Bone Disease area.

Your responsibilities are to:

• Develop and execute Health Economics/Health Outcomes Research Strategic plans in support of the substantiation of the Payer Value Proposition of compounds in late stage and in-market portfolio in UCB’s Immunology/Bone Therapy Area
• Provide optimal support in Health Economics/Health Outcomes Research excellence to internal stakeholders involved in the development and commercialization of these compounds
• Depending on your profile, this position may also encompass an involvement in strategic pricing or general market access-related projects in support of the compounds worked on

Your profile:

• A Master degree (Health Economics or Statistics would be an asset – and/or Scientific)
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (French and/or Spanish would be an asset)
• This role is based in Brussels (Belgium)
• Minimum of 4 years experience in Health Economics/Health Outcomes Research in pharmaceutical/biotech industry and/or Consultancy/Health Technology Assessment body
• Strong knowledge of key international health care systems (e.g. Germany, UK, France)
• Proven track record of performing high quality research (i.e. scientific publications, abstracts, posters)
• Excellent methodological quantitative and analytical skills
• Sound understanding of how to successfully apply health economics/health outcomes research principles and to efficiently communicate the resulting evidence to support the development and commercialization of products
• Excellent understanding of health economic research designs that produce relevant payer value information in both development and post-launch
• Experience in economic modelling and Health Economics project management
• In a compelling consultative approach you articulate your ideas in a clear, inspirational and pragmatic manner
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and an effective team player who can engender credibility and confidence within an international matrix organization
• Creative mind-set, can-do attitude and hands-on problem solving skills, while able to think strategically
