Our Technology Division undertakes the development of innovative new products and equipment from concept through to full production, often incorporating considerable technical challenges. As the next phase of our strategic growth begins, a number of opportunities have been created within our multi-disciplinary Software Engineering Team based in our Cambridge Technology Centre.
The Software Engineering Team develops software using agile methodologies for embedded devices and PC applications for instrumentation, measurement and control systems. We are looking to recruit innovative, adaptable and talented individuals with excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
The Role :
You will develop software for Elektron’s wide range of instrumentation, monitoring and control products. Applications include temperature, viscosity and pressure measurement; eye-test equipment and nano-positioning systems.
The Person :
With a degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent, you will be responsible for developing software for embedded control of sensors and motors, applications for PC environments, interfacing to embedded controllers via wired/wireless protocols and connecting PC applications across networks.
