Within Technip Benelux we are looking for a (Sr.) Mechanical Piping Engineer to join our team.
Our Mechanical Department is responsible for translating process data and datasheets to installation. The department is formed by an international group with 50 employees, divided into 10 specialized sections: Rotating Equipment, Mechanical Equipment, Civil & Steel Plant, Internals Furnace, Furnace & Refractory Steel, Piping, Painting & Insulation, Stress & Supporting, Piping Material and CAD / CAE Support.
The (Sr.) Piping Engineer is responsible for the design of piping systems for process plants which Technip has in progress. That means you have a team of designers, stress engineers and materials engineers controls. You work in project teams led by a project manager and are responsible for the hours budget and progress reports on the project for your discipline. You work within the project team with other disciplines such as process, civil, steel, instrumentation and equipment, and play a central role in the final design of the installation process. The international character of Technip implies that you shall be prepared for occasional international travel to visit the location where the installation will be realized, technical discussions with the customer or and other offices that work together on various projects. Extensive experience and excellent knowledge in the field of designing piping systems for process and all associated responsibilities and work here are obvious for this challenging position.
