Your challenge Challenge yourself in to contribute in Mechatronic development projects by performing analyses, trouble shooting and practical design recommendations for the world’s most demanding products and equipment. This is executed in an environment with a variety of customers and projects, where own initiative and system thinking are vital for success.
Your responsibilities
As a Senior Technologist Dynamics, you contribute to Mechatronic development projects by performing analyses, both experimental and numerical, in order to predict dynamic effects on the functioning or accuracy of systems. Besides analyses for systems under development, trouble shooting of e.g. vibration issues in existing products and/or machines will be part of the job. This can be in consultancy mode, or as a more thorough investigation project. In order to make practical design recommendations for performance improvement, various means, tools and methods will be applied, including numerical modeling (either with FEM (ANSYS) or with lumped models in Matlab Simulink), analytical studies, experimental vibration analysis (e.g. Modal Analysis), literature study and consulting peer experts. The role of Senior Technologist Dynamics will include contributing to project acquisition, writing project proposals and leading small technical teams.
Your team
Philips Innovation Services has a wide range of disciplines and know-how to serve our customers in bringing their innovations to market, as fast and as efficiently possible.
