Process Engineer – Refining and Petrochemicals Job Description

My client is a refining and petrochemical company which produces and markets hydrocarbon and petrochemical.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION 

• Provide technical process design to company process units and oil handling facilities
• Plan, schedule and provide work direction as required for preparation of designs, processes, reports, correspondence and related data and assure the efficiency, adequacy and conformance to overall objectives of all phases of engineering problems.
• Support the development, and formulate the basis for, engineering studies in any of several basic or special engineering fields by analyzing and evaluating data, including scope, effect on existing installations and economic value.
• Initiate detailed work outline and makes decision as to basic approaches, processes and/or equipment.
• Perform work and/or delegate work to other engineers for final development of specialized or technical proposals and proposed projects.
• Conduct long range planning and reviewing cost estimates.
• Discuss, coordinate and resolve problems with personnel throughout the company, subsidiaries and outside contractors.
• Acts as technical consultant when required on ad-hoc projects

Process Engineer – Refining and Petrochemicals Job Requirements

PROFILE REQUIRED 

• Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering
• Min 7 years experience within the refinery and petrochemical industry
• Previous experience in polymer and monomer required
• You will have process control project management experience within the petrochemicals industry, and excellent project management skills and experience, having managed a number of projects from the design stage through completion.
