Teledyne DALSA Professional Imaging is part of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated and specializes in the Research & Development, Design and Manufacturing of high-performance CCD and CMOS image sensors and X-ray detectors. Teledyne DALSA’s image sensors and detectors are used worldwide in the most demanding medical and dental imaging, aerial photography, professional digital still cameras and machine vision applications. It is located in Eindhoven (The Netherlands), Sunnyvale (CA, USA) and Waterloo (ONT, Canada). Due to the strong growth in production, Teledyne DALSA is recruiting for the following opening:

Assembly Production Engineer    

The key activities of the new assembly production engineer will be: -          

• Monitoring of the total manufacturing process where the quality of the end product has high priority.        
• Ensuring high quality and cost-conscious manufacturing. 
• Initiating, supporting and joining in improvement projects and optimization projects in manufacturing. 
• Identifying and eliminating waste, using the Lean Manufacturing techniques.       
• Initiating and supporting the optimization of manufacturing process using statistical techniques and experiments. 
• Supporting the introduction of new processes.  

Assembly Production Engineer Job Requirements

The position is open for candidates with at least 3-5 years previous work with a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and preferably several years experience in a high tech manufacturing environment.
