Production Manager Job Description

Introductie: 

To manage the lifecycle of a project through its period on the shopfloor with an objective of maximising productivity and efficiency utilising both strategy and experience. To develop a team approach that delivers a project on time and in budget with the assistance of all Departmental Teams.

Responsibilities: ·         

• To co-ordinate and supervise all construction activities ensuring the work is carried out in a safe and proper manner including sub-contractors; ·        
• To monitor production hours against budget; ·        
• To participate in the development of work methods and building sequences for tenders and live projects; ·         
• To provide input to the Planning Department to enable a 6 week construction 'look ahead' programme to be produced, where appropriate; ·         
• Liaise with commissioning/mechanical completion supervisors in order to determine the sequence and priority of system completion.

Production Manager Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management position within an offshore/construction environment. ·         
• An understanding of company Quality, Safety, Health & Environmental systems & programmes. ·         
• Communicate in a positive manner with subordinate staff and other departmental managers. ·         
• Planning & Organisational skills that enable the implementation of the company strategy.
