Function description

The instrument group of Salland Engineering is looking for an enthusiastic colleague with 2-3 years experience in developing software and hardware. Our target market is the semicon industry. The instrument group is mainly focused on developing high density instrumentation solutions for third parties. This will enable our customers to gain test efficiency to reduce test cost. The instrumentation is mainly integrated on ATE's. As software engineer you work closely together with the firmware and hardware engineer during the development process. The main tasks of an engineer are making detailed designs, implementing software and testing the software on the targeted instrument. During the software development you write drivers, diagnostic tests, functional checkers, verification tests and validation tests. Besides the software knowledge, hardware knowledge is important and you need to be able to read and understand the electronic design of the instrument under development.

• Bachelor graduation
• 2 - 3 years experience with Object oriented programming (C++)
• Hardware knowledge, know how to read and understand electronics schematics
• Can work accurate
• Able to get familiar in a short time with new techniques
