The position

As a technical superintendent, you will prepare, supervise and guide dockings/repair jobs and provide day-to-day technical supervision for our state-of-the-art equipment. Other responsibilities:

• Drawing up final reports (both technical and financial) and advise on necessary technical improvements.
• Helping the crew in solving technical problems on board and monitor the logistics of purchase orders.

(Experienced) Technical Superintendent Job Requirements

We ask for

• At least a higher professional degree in Mechanical Engineering or Shipbuilding or equivalent.
• A minimum of five years of work experience in maritime or shipbuilding repairs, preferably abroad or experience as a chief engineer with a certification ‘All ships’.
• Experience with executing repairs.
• A colleague who is a keen negotiator, well organised and who functions well in a hectic environment with sometimes conflicting interests.
• Willingness to spend a week or a few months at various locations abroad.
• A good command in English and willingness to move to the Netherlands.
