Mechanical Engineer Job Description

Your main responsibilities:
- Realization or coordinating of the basic design package (or specific discipline selected part)
- GA drawings / PI&D
- Realization or coordinating of the detailed design package
- Detailed mechanical construction package including calculations
- Realization of specific construction packages for sub-vendors:
- Supports construction company or sub vendor
- Communicates technical issue with other disciplines
- Performs detailed verification and preliminary inspections on the design package
- Acts as helpdesk on specialized matters
- Assists in commissioning and field installation
Mechanical Engineer Job Requirements
Your qualifications:
- A Dutch degree of HBO/ TU Mechanical Engineering or equal
- Wide experience in mechanical construction and knowledge of material properties
- Knowledge of piping standards and classification, PED regulations, “stoomwezen” and local regulations
- Experience in strength, weight and stress calculations, in flow profile calculations and pressure drop calculations
- 5 + Years experience in a related field and good knowledge of the Dutch and English language
